MCS installers and scaffolding contractors — we are looking for partners, not staff.
ApolloGrid has a steady pipeline of residential solar, battery storage and heat pump installations across the UK. We are looking for MCS-certified firms to deliver them, and scaffolding contractors to provide safe access. This is subcontract partnership work for established companies, not employment.

Two ways to work with us
You can take on either side of this, or both. Plenty of firms start with equipment supply and move on to installation work once they know how we operate.
What we are looking for
We work with companies that are already doing this properly, so the qualifying questions are short.
- MCS certification — your own registration, covering the technologies you install
- Monthly install volume — a realistic figure for what you can take on alongside your existing work
- Coverage area — the postcodes or regions you actually travel to
- Public liability and the usual paperwork — insurance, competent-person qualifications, RAMS
We are not asking you to commit to exclusivity, and we do not expect you to drop existing customers. Most of our partners fit our jobs around their own book of work.
What we supply
We manufacture our own equipment and hold UK stock, which is the practical difference for a partner: you are not waiting on a container.
- Solar PV panels
- Three-phase battery storage
- Hybrid inverters
- Air source heat pumps
- Mounting systems and fitting kits
Stock is held at our Chessington warehouse in South London and at Nottingham, so orders ship domestically rather than on import lead times. Our head office is in Croydon.
Scaffolding contractors
Access is the constraint on most residential roofs, and a job that cannot be scaffolded on the right day is a job that slips. We are building a standing list of scaffolding contractors by region, so that installation dates can be booked with access already confirmed.
If you erect scaffolding for domestic roof work and can take scheduled jobs in a defined area, we would like to hear from you. Send your coverage area and typical lead time for a domestic job.
Aftercare stays with us
Aftercare is handled by ApolloGrid, not passed back to you.
Install it, hand it over, move on to the next oneThis matters more than it sounds. On a lot of subcontract arrangements the installer is still fielding calls about an inverter fault two years later, unpaid. Warranty claims, monitoring questions and service visits on our projects come to us — you are not the long-term support line for a customer who was never yours.
